A basket of common Tesco-branded groceries now costs over 43% more than it did in 2015, a Gript analysis has shown.
The review compared the prices of 13 staple items from Tesco’s own-brand range in 2015 and 2025. The total cost of the selected products rose from €41.17 to €59.07—an increase of €17.90.
