A number of Irish Government Departments have admitted to making official complaints about specific online posts in recent years, as revealed by recent Parliamentary Questions.
Fianna Fáil TD Malcolm Byrne asked a number of Government Ministers the number of complaints made by each Department to social media or online marketing companies “about specific online posts or accounts” for each year from 2020 to the current day.
