Gardaí were called to several incidents in Tallaght, County Dublin over the course of yesterday evening.
After one incident a woman in her 30s received treatment at Tallaght hospital with suspected gunshot injuries.
A garda spokesperson told Gript, “Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a number of incidents in Tallaght yesterday evening, Tuesday 21st November 2023.”
“At approximately 10:10pm, Gardaí received reports of the discharge of a firearm at a residential premises in the Jobstown area. A woman aged, in her 30s, presented to Tallaght Hospital with a suspected gunshot injury. Her injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.”
Later in the evening Gardaí say they and emergency services attended incidents of “criminal damage” by “fire of a car and of a house” at separate locations in the Jobstown area.
No other injuries have been reported in relation to these incidents.
Gardaí say the areas in question have been condoned off and that technical examinations are ongoing, but that no arrests have been made at this time.
The Gardai spokesperson said “Investigating Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the Jobstown area, between 9.30pm and 3:00am, who may have witnessed these incidents to come forward.”
“Gardaí are appealing to those with camera footage or to any motorist with dash cam footage to make it available to them.” the spokesperson said.
