Donald Trump is a “dictator” for fighting EU rules governing social media and technology, an MEP for Fianna Fáil has claimed.
Speaking at the European Parliament’s Internal Market Committee (IMCO) this week, Cynthia Ní Mhurchú accused the current US government of coercing US companies into opposing the Digital Markets Act – a piece of legislation aimed at reducing the market influence of mostly American technology firms.
