Andrew Doyle with audience participation
A discussion between Graham Linehan and Andrew Doyle about Graham’s life, his experiences as a comedy writer, and his recently released book. It’ll be a relatively intimate affair with a chance for a Q&A and audience discussion with Graham and Andrew
Graham Linehan
Graham is one of our top sitcom and comedy writers, including Father Ted and The IT Crowd. Graham has campaigned for women’s rights and had been targeted by activists as a result. He has been cancelled from his own creation Father Ted Musical and has been trying his hand at stand-up comedy. Graham performed outside the Scottish Parliament at the Edinburgh Fringe, after his Comedy Unleashed show was cancelled. Graham’s recent autobiography Tough Crowd charts how he made and lost a career in comedy.
Andrew Doyle
Playwright, journalist, author, political satirist and stain comic, Andrew Doyle is also the co-founder of Comedy Unleashed – the UK’s free-speech comedy club.
Many people know Andrew from his hit parody character Titania McGrath, the entitled social justice warrior. He is the author of Free Speech and Why It Matters (2021) and The New Puritans: How the Religion of Social Justice Captured the Western World (2022).
