Imagine for a moment that you’ve slipped through the looking glass into an alternative universe, where the world looks exactly like it does today, but only a few details have changed.
One of those details is that in this alternative universe, in June 2022, a midlands school suspended Enoch Burke after he publicly refused to use the preferred pronoun of a transgender student. On foot of this, Mr. Burke went to the High Court seeking an injunction against the school. In this world the High Court sided with him, and told the school it must lift the suspension, and allow him back into the school to teach.
