Elma Walsh, the mother of the late Dónal Walsh, spoke on Liveline yesterday in opposition to assisted suicide, warning her son, Dónal, could have felt “obliged” to end his life if it had been available.
She was speaking on RTÉ’s Liveline as renewed calls to introduce legislation in Ireland, and her honesty and courage really hit home.
