I had intended to write a measured report on this afternoon’s meeting of Fingal County Council which is the final opportunity for the elected members to discuss and suggest changes to the Dunsink Urban Area Plan as amended by the Chief Executive, Anne Marie Farrelly, and her planning officials.
The meeting is to consider 240 motions and to run between 2pm and 7pm. It was quite clear from the beginning that it will not be possible to fully consider and to vote on all of those motions. They were discussing motion 20 at quarter to five.
