Yesterday evening, the staff of Dundrum House Hotel in Tipperary were informed that the liquidators were closing the premises and that all 48 employees were to lose their jobs. The closure applies to the restaurant, bar, golf course, driving range, golf shop and leisure centre.
The hotel has been at the centre of controversy for several years due to the placement of Ukrainian and International Protection (IPAS) refugees there and the legal disputes regarding ownership.
