A Dublin man with 70 precious convictions has been jailed after, what Judge Orla Crowe described as, “a senseless, brutal attack” on a Spanish man who had come to Ireland only weeks before to study English.
The Circuit Criminal Court heard that Kevin Geraghty (34) of no fixed abode punched the man in the face three times in an “utterly unprovoked” attack that took place on Cuffe Lane, just off Harcourt Street in the early hours of 19th of September 2024.
