A father of five, who came to Ireland in 2022 and immediately went on disability as he had TB, has been remanded in custody after he pleaded guilty to stealing €258,340.40 from the Department of Social Welfare.
Tekoy Ombala (50s) of Brookview, Tallaght, Dublin 24, pleaded guilty to stealing the social welfare payments and using a false French passport to defraud the State between 2004 and 2021.
