An asylum seeker who was involved in a serious incident of “violent disorder” has been refused bail by the Circuit Criminal Court.
Salahaldin Saad, who is now resident at an asylum centre in Cork has “poor English” and was aided by an Arabic interpreter who was sworn in on a copy of the Koran.
