When asked about an upper limit on the salary of charity chief executives, the head of the Charities Regulator stated she believes one can “trust the trustees to do the right thing”.
Speaking during a Joint Committee on Social Protection, Rural and Community Development debate last December, Charities Regulator CEO Madeleine Delaney said that the organisation expects salaries to be “benchmarked” and completely transparent.
