Leeson Street House, at 48-49 Lower Leeson Street, Dublin has been used as an asylum accommodation centre since early 2023.  Last week, the company that manages the site, Brother Baghin, requested Dublin City Council to confirm that there is an exemption for this purpose.
There was an earlier application in June this year but that only referred to the accommodation of “homeless persons,” not applicants for International Protection as does the notice registered on September 16.
