There was an intriguing reference in the business section of the Irish Times of December 28 to Offaly businessman Stephen Grant.
It states that “The Offaly boilermaker family are believed to own 25% of Alva Glen Investments, the ultimate owner of the hotel.” The hotel being Citywest.
