The report by the Chief Executive of Fingal County Council on submissions made on the Dunsink City Quarter incorporates a series of significant alterations that represent a major victory for the local community groups in the part of Finglas that borders the Dunsink East part of the proposed development.
It is doubly significant in that had it not been for Stephen Redmond who made residents of the Scribblestown and Valley Park communities, and the adjacent St’ Joseph’s Horse and Pony Club, aware of the huge impact the proposals would have gone through practically unnoticed.
