Independent TD for Offaly Carol Nolan has said that the latest disclosures from the National Screening Service (NSS) raise deeply troubling questions about how biological sex is being sidelined within critical areas of women’s healthcare, including BreastCheck.
Deputy Nolan was responding to new information provided to her which confirms that biological males who identify as women can access BreastCheck services once they have taken feminising hormones for five years.
