One of the main issues highlighted in the 1,164 submissions on Fingal County Council’s plan to construct an 18,500 mainly apartment block ‘new city’ at Dunsink is the impact on the natural environment.
The 201 submissions related to ecology and habitat range from detailed research by academic and other qualified persons, an ecology group, an angling club to others with substantial evidence-based knowledge of the area including local people familiar with their own space.
