Newly published 2025 financial statements for the Laois and Offaly Education and Training Board (LOETB) and the Longford and Westmeath Education and Training Board (LWETB) have revealed a stark contrast in procurement compliance across two neighbouring ETBs.
While LOETB disclosed an unusually high value of €860,000 in non‑compliant procurement spending, LWETB reported a significantly smaller figure of €28,096, despite operating across more than 23 sites.
