Congressman Mike Kelly is a rather typical ‘small-government’ GOP congressman representing northwestern Pennsylvania. A CPAC attendee, lockdown critic and arch-Trump loyalist, Kelly reintroduced the federal Heartbeat Protection Act in January 2025, prohibiting abortion once fetal cardiac activity is detectable at approximately six weeks.
A vocal pro-Israel champion on Capitol Hill, Congressman Kelly has also taken rhetorical stances against what he and his President often refer to as the ‘radical left’, particularly in the aftermath of the assassination attempt on Trump in his home state of Pennsylvania.
