Ann Widdecombe was bludgeoned to death – beaten 21 times on her head with a hammer as she ate lunch, Westminster Magistrates’ Court has heard.
The court was told the man charged with her murder, 28-year-old Joshua Kerry, walked into her home and allegedly used a hammer to hit the elderly woman on the head 21 times.
