One of the striking aspects of the weekend poll on the fuel protests referred to here by Niamh Úi Bhriain was the breakdown in party support.
The fact that the majority of those polled expressed support for the protestors in itself probably came as a surprise to people reliant on mainstream media reportage. What is perhaps more of note is that the vast majority of Sinn Féin and People Before Profit voters backed the protestors.
