A father of five, who came to Ireland in 2002 and immediately went on disability as he had TB, has been jailed for two years and nine months after he pleaded guilty to stealing €258,340.40 from the Department of Social Welfare.
Tekoy Ombala (42) of Brook View, Tallaght, Dublin 24, pleaded guilty to stealing the social welfare payments and using a false French passport to defraud the State between 2004 and 2021.
