An Indian man, who has Dutch nationality, has been jailed for his role in a drunk trafficking operation which was rumbled by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau in October 2024.
Onkar Singh(46) of Zwaluwstraat, Maassluis, Netherlands, appeared before the Circuit Criminal Court late last month and was sentenced today by Judge Sinead Ní Chuaianc, who noted at the previous sitting that the reason behind Singh’s involvement in the scheme was unclear and “out of character” with the references the court had received from family and friends of his.
