Close of business today is the last chance for interested parties to lodge observations on a planning application for a property on Merrion Street Upper. The application, registered with Dublin City Council in the name of David Orr, seeks permission for “Change of use from commercial offices to reinstate residential use to provide 4 storey own-door residential unit.”
David Orr is a director of Abhann Productions, the company that controls the Riverdance franchise, and the owners of the house at 30 Merrion Street Upper are Moya Doherty and John McColgan the originators of the hugely successful performative dance creation. The building is currently designated as in use as commercial office space.
