On Tuesday, our friends at the Journal came to a conclusion, parsing public remarks made by Independent Ireland TDs: The party is urging people to vote rather than spoil their votes in the Presidential Election, and, more newsworthily, appears to be warmly disposed towards the candidacy of left-winger Catherine Connolly:
