Nominations for the office of next President of Ireland close on Wednesday at noon. That means that there are effectively two full days left for another candidate or candidates to make the Presidential ballot.
At this stage, mathematically, there are only two people left in the race to make the ballot: Independent candidates Gareth Sheridan and Maria Steen. For both of them, the equations are straightforward but challenging.
