A planning application was made on Wednesday, August 13 to Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown County Council for an exemption for “change of use” to “accommodate individuals and families seeking international protection, under the supervision and standards of the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY). The uses include Residential accommodation – communal Living – Support & Administration.”
The application was made by Mi Mi Care for Shrewsbury House on the Bray Road, Cabinteely. Mi Mi Care was incorporated in 2021. Its sole director is Christine King of County Wicklow. King owns 25% of Mi Mi Care and 75% is held by Chrissel Tops which is entirely owned by King.
