The State agency responsible for land records is tendering a contract worth €155,000 for the “provision of archive boxes and folders”.
Hosted on the Government procurement platform, eTenders, the notification states that Tailte Éireann requires the “provision of archive boxes and folders of varying sizes for the safe storage of archival records”.
Tailte Éireann is the State agency responsible for providing a title registration and property valuation service, as well as creating and maintaining mapping records of Ireland.
They are also the custodians of the Irish land archives.
The contract duration is estimated at two years, and the set value of €155,000 is noted to exclude VAT.
Asked whether Tailte Éireann could clarify how many boxes, folders or other stationery/office equipment it would expect to receive for that amount, or otherwise to provide clarifying comment on it, no response was forthcoming by the time of publication.
Should Tailte Éireann provide a response to Gript’s query, the article will be updated to include it.
