A man who subjected his then partner to a “prolonged attack” in the course of which he beat her, pulled her by the hair, and dragged her down stairs while their children were present in the house avoided jail at the Circuit Criminal Court.
Judge Martin Nolan heard how Lee Roche, who was “under the influence” at the time, subjected the woman to the assault which Gardaí said lasted over “two to three hours”.
