A man who produced a knife before taking a vehicle from in front of a house on the 7th of March 2024 has received a three year prison sentence.
The Circuit Criminal Court heard that Patrick Carpenter had been on a drink and drugs binge and had not slept for three days when he hijacked a car that was being worked on by two individuals including a 16-year-old boy called Mr. Dempsey.
