A man who pleaded guilty to a charge of money laundering through a phishing scam avoided jail yesterday after appearing before the Circuit Criminal Court in Dublin.
Judge Martin Nolan heard that Ibrahima Camara admitted funds that were stolen from a PTSB account holder were used to purchase Bitcoin through CoinBase with an account made by him.
