A woman in her 40s is due in court this morning charged in connection with the death of a man in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin earlier this month.
She was arrested in Balbriggan yesterday morning, and is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning.
The man, 60s, was discovered with serious injuries on a road in the Balbriggan area in the early hours of Saturday, August 10.
He was removed from the scene to Beaumont Hospital by ambulance and died the following day, on Sunday, August 11.
A post mortem was subsequently conducted, with gardaí saying that the results are not being disclosed for “operational reasons”.
Investigations are ongoing.
