The headline to this week’s roundup is, of course, sadly misleading. As of 10pm tonight, the local and EU elections will indeed be over – but only for voters. For candidates and those of us who write about this stuff for a living, the work and misery (and, for the select few, joy) will actually reach its peak in the coming days as the results trickle in.
I made some general predictions the other day, but you can’t call yourself a pundit without making some specific predictions. I’ll spare myself the blushes of failure by making sure that those predictions are only visible, however, to those of you who subscribe to Gript.
