Multiple reports say Hezbollah has launched a wide scale attack of Israel from the northern border with Lebanon.
The Israeli Defence Force (IDF) said it has received a report regarding a suspected infiltration from Lebanon into Israeli airspace.
This comes as three people were reportedly injured in Israeli shelling which hit several towns and villages in Lebanon after an Israeli military post had two missiles fired at it.

Hezbollah said it targeted the position “in a decisive retaliation to Zionist aggression on Monday” claiming the missile had caused several Israeli casualties.
IDF spokesperson Jonathan Conricus said “We have deployed tens of thousands additional units along the northern border,” adding that the “message to Hezbollah is very clear. If they will try to attack, we are ready and vigilant along our border,”
Hamas militants killed at least 1,200 people in attacks in southern Israel on Saturday.
Since then over 1,000 people have been killed by Israeli retaliation.
Both Israel and the United States have warned Hezbollah – which is the most powerful militant group in Lebanon- against opening another battlefront.
A senior US defence official said, “We are deeply concerned about Hezbollah making the wrong decision and choosing to open a second front to this conflict,”
Hezbollah said it considered the US “a deeply entrenched partner in the Zionist aggression and hold it wholly accountable for the bloodshed, lawlessness, blockade, destruction of homes, and horrifying massacres perpetrated against vulnerable [Palestinian] civilians”.
