Soap is one of those items we really can’t do without. Despite its long history, many of us may still struggle to keep our bars of soap between uses without them turning into a scummy mess.
Of course there are various soap dishes on the market, but these often require cleaning themselves.
I recently came across this simple yet effective hack online. All you need is a plastic bottle cap, and a bar of soap.
Simply press the open side of the cap into the centre of the soap leaving enough of the cap exposed to create a platform that will suspend the soap in mid air when you put it down.
This way your soap dries out quicker between uses and there is no chance of scum, or the soap sliding around.
No more scummy soap melt!
