The controversial World Economic Forum, who first proposed the “Great Reset”, have suggested that laser beams may be used to identify people by their heartbeat’s unique signature if their face is covered by a covid mask.
The assertion was made in a video entitled “5 ways the pandemic could reshape our lives in the long-term,” which featured a variety of predictions about the post-covid future, including more working from home and re-imagined office and school life.
One item on the list, however, could have major implications for mass surveillance.
“You could be identified by your heartbeat,” the group said.
“Facial recognition systems are often stumped by face masks. But your heartbeat is just as unique as your face.
“NASA has invented a system that can ID you from your heartbeat using a laser.”

The technology in question – known as “Jeston” – has existed for years, and can pick up on a unique cardiac signature from 200 meters away, even through clothes using an invisible laser and is over 95% accurate. Moreover, in 2019, the Pentagon were working on making the beam’s range even longer.

“I don’t want to say you could do it from space,” said Steward Remaly of the Pentagon’s Combatting Terrorism Technical Support Office, “but longer ranges should be possible.”
Other long-range biometric detection technologies include gait analysis, which can identify a person by the way they walk. This method has reportedly been used to ID several key ISIS militants before drone strikes by the US military.
A similar NASA-designed technology called FINDER has been used in the past, which uses microwave radiation to detect human heartbeats and breathing. In 2013, this technology was able to locate surviving people trapped under 9 metres of metal and concrete.

However, many twitter users were not thrilled at the prospect of these being rolled out for widespread use.
“Your dystopian future leaves me cold,” said technology journalist Mark Sparrow.

“The future?” asked one user.
“From what we see, the idea is to continue pandemic mode for a while. I thought you said this would soon be over? If we understand correctly, this has nothing to do with the virus but rather a massive reshaping of society?!”

“All I see in this video is more control, endless use of masks, less freedom, and less social contact. If this is the so called “change” you try to depict as a positive thing, i hope you’ll take a good & long look in the mirror.”

If this is the so called "change" you try to depict as a positive thing, i hope you'll take a good & long look in the mirror, and think for yourself if this is really the life.

Your spending controlled.
Your movements tracked.
Your travel limited.

Your thoughts monitored.
Your freedom gone.
Your life controlled.Question everything.
