It’s been some time since the humble, tasteful attitude of ‘not letting your left hand know what your right hand is doing’ was in fashion, when it comes to doing good. No, virtue signalling has been on the increase for some time, and I think it’s just peaked in with a green “flash”.
Announced late last year by then-Transport Minister Eamon Ryan, I was reminded of this salad-brained scheme this morning when the Government emailed me that from next month we can expect to see our betters hitting the road in their “green-flash” registration plate-adorned electric vehicles.
