On Friday, as the fuel protests were ongoing, news confirmed that a further 36 infant remains were discovered in Tuam, County Galway, the site of the former Mother and Baby home. This brings the total infant remains discovered during the government ordered excavation to 69.
You may believe, if you relied on the mainstream media and online offerings, that Tuam was the place where the nuns more or less murdered the infants in their care and then dumped their bodies in a mass grave.
