Let us consider the scandal of Mícheál Ó Leidhin, the broadcaster who was imprisoned for eighteen months for feeling the breasts of a woman he was in bed with. When I say “scandal”, I am not referring to his imprisonment. He got off lightly. He should have got life in a slave-galley rowing Limerick’s Overweight Women’s Water-Skiing Team upstream to Athlone. No, I mean the scandal that the rest of us have escaped imprisonment for the rest of our putrid little lives for indulging in the same vile perversion.
