Thirty five individuals were deported from the State yesterday.
The Garda National Immigration Bureau (GNIB) carried out the operation to deport the 21 men, nine women and five children from Ireland.
The children removed were all part of family groups, according to gardaí.
All individuals were removed on a chartered flight which left Dublin Airport last night, Wednesday, June 4, for Nigeria.
“Another deportation flight left Dublin last night and landed safely this morning in Lagos, Nigeria,” Justice Minister Jim O’Callaghan posted this morning on social media.
“There were 35 people on board who had received but had not complied with Deportation Orders.”
The operation comes as part of a contract signed by the State last year.
A deportation operation in February saw 32 Georgian nationals removed from Ireland on a chartered flight.
This was followed by another deportation flight to Georgia in late April, carrying 39 individuals who had also failed to comply with official deportation orders.
