Despite all of the available evidence being to the contrary, the myth that the November 2023 Dublin riot was a rightwing rampage, fuelled by mis- and dis-information online, continues to have fuel heaped atop it.
The latest attempt came yesterday from Ireland’s paper of record, The Irish Times, whose ‘In the News’ podcast ran with the headline, “Did the Maga movement’s toxic rhetoric fuel the Dublin riots?”
