The political Left is crumbling, most prominently in the US, but even here it is increasingly obvious that the establishment may be on their last legs. As a result, there has been a massive upsurge in conservative voices in media and politics. In principle, I would consider this great progress, if for no other reason than to provide balance to our modern political dialogue.
The problem, however, is that many of the voices emerging do not provide balance – they provide destructive opinions that risk turning the Right into the same political monster that the Left was transformed into over the past few decades.
