At about the time as #LetsGoBrandon was exploding virally across social media, I overheard a conversation at a bar in an airport between an American and some Irish drinkers. The American claimed: “There was no way that Joe Biden got 80 million votes. Every weekend at football games everywhere crowds are chanting ‘fu©k Joe Biden”.
His Irish drinking companion made a point – in a strangely self-assured way – that “well some people will say that but that’s not the majority.”
I didn’t understand why the Irish drinkers were so keen to preserve their own assumptions of reality. The point that they may be overlooking, and which might be significant, is the direction of travel in which this is going. The very appearance of this sentiment in the overweening institutionally controlled world of college youth culture is interesting. What we are seeing is that this is growing. It is becoming more common! As the analysts like to say, it is a direction of travel and it is picking up speed.
Also of note: the conversation was an indication that people are sick of holding back on commenting on what they believe to be happening in front of their eyes, and are not going to be cowed into silence much longer, by preposterous false charges of “racism” and other deranged projections designed to protect the institutions of power.
In particular, these are young people who are striking out and saying ‘you can’t gaslight me any longer.’
The media were trying to conceal the hostility Biden was facing – pretending it doesn’t exist, or just call it hate speech so it could be discounted.
All this took a bizarre turn at a recent post race interview with NASCAR driver, Brandon Brown, by NBC’s Kelli Stavast. The now familiar chant went up in the crowd behind the interviewee, clear for everyone to hear, but according to the interviewer, who was trying hard to diffuse the situation and control the Joe Biden illusion, they were saying “Let’s go Brandon”.

‘Well that works for us’, said the meme makers and the “Let’s go Brandon” hashtag exploded across social media like a virus. A song based on the anti-Biden chant has soared up the charts and now sits at No. 1 on the iTunes hip-hop chart in the U.S.
Everybody knows what “Let’s Go Brandon” means, and it is the perfect symbol in an age of untruth when you are not supposed to say what is before your eyes. It is an innocuous substitute phrase for a verboten apothegm. It is making a mockery of an illusion; an enforced illusion that we are told is truth from the Corporate Pravda in places like CNN and RTE. People are beginning to take note of this.
The enforced isolation of the shutdown of the past year and a half has enabled a control of the narrative by the establishment elitists with the aid of the corporate media. What they are afraid of is that when people actually get together and start talking amongst themselves and noticing things, they will no longer believe the version of reality that the corporate Pravda are feeding them on a daily basis. The illusion seems to be breaking. #LetsGoBrandon is a perfect example.
The “buyers remorse” of people who voted for Biden was noted on the very day of the presidential election last November. In an exit poll survey, it was found that 1 out of every 6 Biden voters would have voted against Joe Biden if they had known of any one of eight scandals that the corporate media covered up for him. These scandals included the emails on Hunter Biden’s laptop which suggested bribes taken from Chinese and other foreign governments; and the Tara Reade assault allegations.
We now know that the emails were authentic despite the insistence of the Corporate Press and big tech that they were some sort of Russian-planted hoax.
What is clear to a growing majority (and this is reflected in Biden’s dismal approval rating – he is now above 50% in disapproval) is that the dishonesty of the media and tech oligarchy knows no limits. This cabal of media complexes who specialise in disinformation and information suppression, gained the presidency for Biden through a sustained campaign of propaganda.
It is very clear for anyone watching that Biden is just incompetent and incapable of doing the job even though he has never fielded a tough question from a fawning establishment media. They must be feeling some sort of embarrassed that the marionette standing in for president is such an embarrassment. Maybe not! For enough money you can grow skin inches thick
Typically he’s asked pre-screened questions and soft ball nonsense about his favourite ice cream flavour and what colour socks his dogs wear. If it is ever anything more direct than this Joe Biden mumbles some sort of grumpy-old-man response.
Biden is kept from the media. The suspicion is that, the longer this hysteria over covid continues, the longer they can pretend Biden is in charge even though they have him hidden away and removed from the presence and the scrutiny of the media.
We have seen some glimpses of this reality because it’s hard to keep such an illusion going. When Biden sat down with Boris Johnson and was poised to take some media questions, the entire press core was shoed out of the room by Biden’s aides. Biden regularly asks “can I take questions now” instead of just taking questions as a head of state would when addressing the press.
The big tech oligarchy are trying very hard to author what is true and what is false. They have decided that biology no longer counts. They have an entire agitprop industry, which they call “fact-checking”, but which looks more like lobbyists trying to decide for us what we should believe and what we should reject.
The fact that “F Joe Biden” has been subbed by a term that provocatively is nothing near it, but means precisely that, is a perfect commentary on this age of pretend and illusion that is emanating all the way down from the elite level. The corporate media-scape gives us orchestrated gas lighting and we are all being told that we are taking part whether we like it or not.
“F Joe Biden” is also reflective of a populist idea. Indeed, it is the populist element of what the Trump phenomenon represented – not his coarse vulgarity – that frightened the establishment. It is the possible rejection of the lobbyist and NGO style of government of the elite, who tell the common people what’s good for them and what they are allowed to think and believe. Special interests who tell them that they can’t object when the core of their society is gutted through the interests of globalist elites. Western societies are increasingly hollowed out at the centre and beset by social malaise whilst investors pump hoarded resources into speculative ventures in far flung low cost economies.
This is a manipulated world, justified by idpol, and rife with untruths and complete illusions. All in the end justifying the consolidation of power with an elite, with rhetoric which we are told is inclusive while the people who would be represented by a populist have become impotent without franchise. It is the fear that there’s a recognition of this, and that people have recognised that they have been left behind and they need an alternative. It’s the fear that this idea might take hold which terrifies the elite.
“Let’s go Brandon” at least is a clue that ordinary people are beginning to recognise that the elite are there to serve themselves and their inner circle, not to serve the public or the public good. That they realise that the elite think the whole thing is a joke and that the Corporate Media are nothing but a Pravda.
Something resembling a populist movement is taking hold though, and as Steve Bannon predicted, once parents realised what the CRT programmes in schools looks like, they would revolt.
Last week Biden ordered his AG, Merrick Garland, to set the FBI on irate parents who are turning up at school board meetings to protest mask mandates and radical marxist CRT programs. Biden has effectively declared that parents are terrorists, and in doing so has sealed his fate.
