Elon Musk has said having children “should be incentivised” in a post on Twitter/X.
The billionaire, himself a father of 11, said, “Having children should be incentivized, not be a financial penalty like it is in most countries!’
He added, “We must create the next generation of humans or spiral into oblivion.”
Musk made his remarks when sharing a Twitter/X poll he was tagged in posted by Hungarian President Katalin Novák in which the pro-family politician had asked whether people who have children should be at a financial disadvantage compared to those without.
Novák remarked that the Hungarian government would “like people with children to have a financial advantage.”
Musk, in another apparent move to address the issue of aging populations in many western countries, later tweeted saying, “The real battle is between the extinctionists and the humanists.”
“Once you see it, you can’t unsee it.” he added.

Once you see it, you can’t unsee it.

In a recent interview with rapper and podcast host Zuby, Musk remarked that “nothing will make you happier than having kids.”
Agreeing with the host that the idea of kids and parenthood “needed to be made cool again” Musk said that having children will “absolutely improve your happiness,”
Gript previously reported Musk’s agreement that the population collapse is a huge cause for concern.
Niamh Uí Bhriain wrote, “Elon Musk has spoken out to agree that “population collapse is the biggest threat to civilisation” as new figures show the UK has the lowest number of babies born in 20 years, while South Korea continues to set new records for the world’s lowest fertility rates.”
