Four men have been injured following a public order incident in Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare, on Sunday evening.
Gardaí responded to reports of the incident involving a number of individuals at Main Street, Miltown Malbay, at approximately 7.10pm.
Four males (two aged in their 20’s, one aged in his 30’s and one in his 40’s) sustained injuries in the course of the incident, which are believed to be non-life-threatening at this time.
One of the males (aged in his 20’s) received medical treatment at the scene, while another two (aged in their 30’s and 40’s) were brought to University Hospital Limerick for treatment.
The scene was preserved for technical examination, and gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
