Justice Minister Jim O’Callaghan has said there should be a “warning and education campaign” for men as old as 29 about the danger of one-punch attacks, saying they “need to be warned of the consequences of throwing punches.”
Speaking in the Dáil this week, the Fianna Fáil Minister said that “regrettably” it is generally young men between the ages of 16 and 29 who find themselves in this situation, and that sometimes they can be older.
