Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after an elderly woman was followed home before her jewellery was stolen from her.
The robbery occurred on Sunview, Malahide Road, Artane, Dublin 5, at approximately 09:44 am on Monday, 24th August 2026.
A woman, in her 80s, was approached in the driveway of her home after being followed by a suspect as she returned from local shopping. A number of pieces of jewellery were subsequently stolen.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the area between 09.30 am and 09.50 am, particularly motorists who may have dashcam footage, doorbell footage and CCTV footage, to contact them.
