Foreign nationals still make up more than half of all adults in emergency homeless accommodation, official figures show, as 17,527 people including 5,659 children lived in State-funded emergency accommodation in July.
The Department of Housing’s Monthly Homelessness Report for July showed that 11,868 adults alongside 5,659 children relied on these emergency services over the designated count period.
