The European Central Bank has compared the current US AI stock market rally to the dot-com bubble, predicting that a significant drop in American tech shares is on the horizon.
Writing in a blog post, ECB analysts meanwhile insist that Europe could be spared the worst of any forthcoming crash, characterising the fact that they have failed to grow alongside their US equivalents as a sign they do not suffer from “overexuberance”.
